Recently there has been a lot of publicity regarding end of life issues. It occurred to me that individuals might want to educate themselves as to what is available to help them. The State of Michigan offers assistance in pamphlet form from the Michigan Department of Community Health. We have re-published the Michigan Dignified Death Act pamphlet to assist you.

This link to the State Bar of Michigan website provides commonly asked questions and answers. A durable power of attorney for health care will help you with end of life decisions and will assist you to ensure that they are being made as you want them to be made as opposed to someone else making treatment decisions for you.
